In other vertebrate news, a few salamander eggs and hundreds of wood
frog eggs have appeared in our ponds and vernal pool. Peepers have
started singing. Shaggy, disreputable looking deer have been spotted
(disreputable because they ate off the onion tops in the garden
already).
