At 7:00 PM on Monday February 10, 2014, Carol Foss, Director of
Conservation for New Hampshire Audubon, is to speak on Tar Sands in
New Hampshire, a topic which has received detailed study at NH
Audubon. This is an important conservation issue with potential for
affecting birds as well as numerous other aspects of our environment.
This program, to be held in the Mayer Room of the Howe Library in
Hanover, NH, is free and open to the public. Many of you will recall
that Carol Foss was Editor for the New Hampshire breeding bird atlas.

George Clark
Norwich, VT
