Today Ed Hack and I looked for birds in the towns of Windsor,
Weathersfield, and Springfield, all in Windsor County, VT. A highlight
was a Vesper Sparrow viewed at close range along the edge of the old
pumpkin field on the west side of the "peninsula" at Lake Runnemede.
Also notable today were numerous Eastern Phoebes and Song Sparrows.
