This morning Ed Hack, Chris Rimmer, and I observed a male Blue-winged
Teal in a mainly ice-covered pond on the south side of Route 14 near
the Royalton/Sharon, VT, boundary (Ainsworth Farm). Other waterfowl
seen this morning included 6 Wood Ducks in the White River in Royalton
(Gilman Road Farm).
