SYSTEMS INTEGRATION ENGINEER
Summary:
The Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for architecture, design, and engineering of products and supporting equipment based on complex electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities:
*         Lead design and engineering work from ideation through product design to manufacturing and customer deployment
*         Provide and maintain all product/project related design and engineering documentation including technical drawings, schematics, computer generated analysis, design reports, and end-user product documentation
*         Prepare engineering analysis of projects/solutions to include: preliminary design, supporting calculations, component sizing and tolerances, thermal simulations, static/dynamic mechanical analysis, life cycle cost and equipment/material selection
*         Design, develop, and implement QA test procedures for verification/validation of designs
*         Work with potential users to help define product technical and functional specifications
*         Work closely with team leader or other assigned engineers in project meetings to facilitate meeting project goals, financial parameters of the project and work assignments
Additional Responsibilities:
*         Assist with the development and execution of product life-cycle management plan
*         Developing, testing, and deploying new applications addressing novel health, sports, and military well-being
*         Interface with and oversee vendors and suppliers
*         Ability to travel throughout United States as needed to support ongoing R & D programs (~5%)
Education & Experience:
*         Bachelor of Science or higher in an engineering related field
*         4+ years of product development experience of electromechanical systems is required
*         2D and 3D parametric CAD proficiency is required (Solidworks preferred)
*         Polymer & textile design for manufacture / rapid prototyping / scalable process development experience is strongly desired
*         Demonstrable experience and familiarity with GMP and design control processes as defined by ISO and FDA guidelines
*         Technical competency and hands-on experience in most of the following domains:  C/C++ (Visual Studio, CVI), database SQL (MySQL, SQL Anywhere), MatLab, LabView, NI DAQ, desktop application development, FEA/FEM (Cosmos, Abaqus), embedded firmware, and analog/digital electrical design (schematic capture and board layout).

SENIOR SOFTWARE AND IT ENGINEER
Summary:
Responsible for performing software/firmware design, development and testing in the area of Medical Device Development

Responsibilities:
*         Design, develop, implement and test software/firmware to system requirements and specifications
*         Life cycle management of software including release through upgrades to end-of-life
*         Lead software design reviews
*         Create and maintain QA test plans
*         Maintain detailed application bug lists
*         Create and maintain technical and user documentation
*         Work with third party web design firms, hardware and software developers
*         Provide user support
*         Assist in the development and maintenance of data management functions in a data replication environment
*         Work with team leader or other assigned engineers in project meetings to facilitate meeting project goals, financial parameters of the project and work assignments
*         Responsible for developing and maintaining software best practices including build and test processes
*         Provide recommendations to management concerning IT performance, software recommendations  and software development
Additional Responsibilities:
*         Supervision of engineering intern assignments
*         Maintaining and extending integrated embedded, client, web and database systems in support of clinical research and commercial products
*         Taking ownership of all corporate IT related issues including but not limited to customer support, system backup, employee setup and support
*         Performing other duties when required or requested
Education & Experience:
*         Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
*         Significant SQL experience including relational database design, replication, and optimization
*         Expert knowledge of C/C++
*         HTML, Javascript, XUL experience a plus
*         Demonstrable experience in server-side scripting (ColdFusion, PHP, ASP)
*         Some embedded firmware development
*         Excellent communication skills
*         Ability to work independently and in a team environment
