Catherine Greenleaf, Founder and Director of the St. Francis Wild Bird
Hospital in Lyme, NH, will present a talk on "How to Help Wild Birds
Through the Cold Winter Months" at 7:00 PM next Monday December 10,
2012, in the Mayer Room at Hanover's Howe Library, exploring how bird
enthusiasts can best help our feathered friends survive winter's
challenging cold. This program, arranged by the Mascoma Chapter of
New Hampshire Audubon, is free and open to the public.

A state licensed and federally permitted wildlife rehabilitator, Ms.
Greenleaf has more than a decade's experience rehabilitating birds and
has been working in Lyme for last five years. She is a member of the
International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council and has completed more
than 1,000 hours of clinical training. She received her IWRC Wildlife
Rehabilitator Level AB qualification training at the University of
Rhode Island in Providence and successfully completed the Wildlife
Rehabilitator Training Series at the Vermont Institute of Natural
Science Raptor Center (VINS). She also is trained in Oiled Wildlife
Emergency Response and is certified in Wildlife Forensics.
