A reminder that the Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon is hosting an all day trip to Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area in Addison VT on Saturday November 3. Our leader will be Spencer Hardy. We will carpool from the parking lot near the Norwich end of the Ledyard Bridge, leaving at 7:30 AM. We expect to see snow geese in addition to other waterfowl and open-country birds. The trip is free and open to the public. Dress warmly, wear appropriate footwear, bring water and a snack, and, of course, binoculars and/or a spotting scope. For details, see our website at MascomaBirds.org. Bad weather date is November 4 at 8 AM.
