Had a pleasant surprise on my evening walk along the Tomapo Farm hedgerow; flushed an Upland Sandpiper. It landed back in the hayfield about 50' away, so I had a great view for an extended time.

There was also a pair of Eastern Bluebirds using the nest box in the Townsend's yard, with a pair of Purple Finches in the background providing some nice color contrast .
