Job Description: Integrated Circuit Design Engineer Allegro Microsystems - Sensor Business Unit Manchester, NH.

What You Will Do:
As an Integrated Circuit Design Engineer in our Sensor Group, you will quickly take a lead role -- including customer interaction -- through all phases of the design process. Using your proven silicon track record, you will lead a small chip design team from product definition through layout as well as test definition.

Working with marketing and systems engineers, you will have the opportunity to influence the Company's product and technology directions. You will work with the latest Cadence analog, digital, and mixed-signal design tools (Analog Artist, Virtuoso Composer, Diva, Spectre, Encounter Test, Verilog) and with appropriate PC-based tools (MATLAB, C, MSOffice) to create designs in a sophisticated BiCMOS process.

Experience & Education Requirements
The successful candidate will possess a BSEE.  All levels of experience will be considered, particularly in the following areas:

*         Bipolar/CMOS (1um->0.35um technologies)
*         Low Noise, low offset amplifier design Switched Capacitor
*         Data Converter (sigma-delta, SAR, algorithmic)
*         Analog/Mixed-signal IC design
*         Design for Test
*         Digital synthesis

Experience in Cadence Tools, Verilog is a plus.
