Hello,
The past couple of weeks I have had robins in my apple tree eating the left over apples. It started with about 6 robins but the numbers have grown each day. Today there were about 25 or so. They are big and they have very bright red breasts. My question is are these robins from Canada or are our spring robins coming back. I have never seen this number of robins in winter before. Every now and then over the years I have spotted one or two. I would really appreciate any thoughts about what is going on with them.

Very sorry to hear about the geese and heron. Has anyone called fish and Game? I would hate to think that they died at the hands of humans.
Take care Anne
