Some good sightings to report.
Monday and Wednesday, ten green-winged teal on a farm pond corner of River Rd. and North Thetford Rd.
Monday, 14 ravens flew over home property (group of eight and group of six)
Wednesday and Thursday, five eastern bluebirds
Wednesday, red-tailed hawk on home property
Wednesday, two common loons on Post Pond
Thursday, feeders that went up Wednesday found today by a blue jay, two chickadees and a white-breasted nuthatch
Thursday, heard unmistakable rising buzz of a pine siskin mixed in with a few american goldfinches
Conspicuous in their absence so far, no canada geese flyovers and no rusty blackbirds seen anywhere
