The Hanover Conservancy (formerly Hanover Conservation Council) will have its annual Fall Hawk Watch on the summit of Balch Hill in Hanover on Saturday, October 1, 11am-1pm.  Leader: David Merker.  Bring binoculars.  Parking is available at Grasse Rd.-Trescott Rd. corner or at the end of Hemlock Rd.  Map available at www.hanoverconservancy.org. (Rain Date is Oct. 2, same time, check website for weather update).
