Ok.... it was at Cape Cod. Hyannis area.
Pretty soggy birding, but managed a few fine birds,
Haven't seen a Clapper Rail in 35 years, Will and I had a good, brief look
as it flew into a shallow puddle, scooted around, then wiggled away into the
marsh grasses.
2 Forster's Tern, imm. Fine look, dipping and swirling. 1 Co Tern.
1 Whimbrel
8 Co Egrets
2 Green Herons, 3 Great blues.
1 Black-bellied Plover
20 Semi-Palm. Plovers
12 Ruddy Turnstones
Lots of Semi-palm and Least sandpipers.
8 Sanderlings.
12 Greater Yellowlegs.
3 Willets.
1 imm Peregrine
1 Cooper's Hawk
