And they also require you to use the relatively 
inefficient input method of menu click and drag.
Call me a dinosaur, but PowerFind Pro is much easier if you know the syntax.

Bob, this is definitely a bug.

You could work around it using character class syntax:

Find and Replace "[.][.]+ *","Š","Ea"
