Despite the overcast morning, our group led of 11 and leader Bill Shepard
had a good time birding at Storrs Pond and the adjoining Rinker-Steele
Natural Area. There are some amazing mature trees in this area. Singing
Blue-headed and Red-eyed Vireos provided opportunities for new birders to
hear the different songs, and we had great views of Northern Parulas,
Blackburnians, Yellow-rumps, and Black-throated Greens. Full list is below.
Some Etna birding next week; will send announcement in a few days.
