Sales Manager, Engineering Services (Vermont)
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales - Engineering Services, this position will take a lead role in the turbomachinery engineering sales area.  The individual will need to match the company's capabilities and resources in turbomachinery engineering to the needs of the customer. Acting as a principal customer interface, the Sales Manager requires a thorough technical knowledge of turbomachinery engineering, including the application, design, and operation of combustion and steam turbines, compressors, pumps, fans/blowers, and turbochargers.  The individual will work with other departments, in particular the Engineering Group, to develop proposals that meet the client's needs.   An ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, is essential.  Responsibilities include developing plans for future growth, working with CRM tools for tracking business activity and market trends, developing forecasts for resource planning, preparing technical proposals and cost estimates, following-up on open proposals and taking  necessary action to close sales, and making effective presentations to customers.  A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, is expected with five or more years of work related experience and the ability to translate customer requests into individual technical proposals. The desired candidate must have excellent technical sales skills, including proposal writing and presentations. A strong base of experience in pumps, compressors, turbines or engines and related systems is required.  Some travel will be required.  Knowledge of computer software (Office, Excel, CRM) is expected.

Director of Mechanical Component Design (Vermont)
We are seeking a senior or mid-level engineer with design and structural analysis experience in the turbomachinery industry to manage our mechanical component design group.  This individual will oversee the work of a group of talented mechanical designers and structural analysis engineers, and will also be responsible for their own design/analysis projects.  Experience with turbomachinery design (bearings, seals, rotordynamics, stress, and fatigue lifing) is required.  Experience can come from a number of different industries, including turbocharger, industrial compressor/turbine, aerospace gas turbine, etc...  Project and personnel management experience is highly desirable along with excellent communication and presentation skills.  The successful candidate must have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. preferred) and 10+ years of relevant design and/or analysis experience along with supervisory experience.

Senior Level Aerodynamics/Hydrodynamics Engineer (Vermont)
We are seeking a senior level turbomachinery engineer, with a focus in the aerodynamic / hydrodynamic design and analysis areas. Responsibilities include aero/hydro design and analysis of compressors, pumps, turbines (including steam turbines), and stationary turbomachinery components. Experience with both axial and radial turbomachinery is very beneficial. Turbomachinery experience should include meanline design, three-dimensional flow path and blading design, and CFD analysis using modern design tools. Project management experience is critical. One of the available positions specifically calls for in-depth turbine design/analysis experience. Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills are very important. A minimum B.Sc., ME, and 10-15 years in aerodynamic/hydrodynamic design and analysis after the degree was earned is expected.

Director, Large Projects (Vermont)
We are seeking a highly experienced Program Director (PD) with turbomachinery experience to be responsible for managing our 'Large Project' group. This group, comprised of experience project managers (PMs), is responsible for the day-to-day management of exciting new engineering projects, including the satisfaction of all project technical and contractual requirements, including cost and schedule. The PMs in this group coordinate activities of company personnel (utilizing company resource management tools) and appropriate outside resources as required, coordinate customer communication, and ensure proper documentation (including ISO requirements) for projects under the PM's responsibility. These PMs typically also serve as mechanical design engineers on their projects. The director will oversee the activities of the PMs, as well as serve as PM on several projects. Other duties include coordinating activities with Engineering and Operations groups as required to meet goals, perform engineering functions in qualified areas, as time allows, and supporting company sales activities as requested. A minimum of a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, along with 10+ years of active engineering experience and a minimum of five years of program management experience is required. Candidates must have "hands-on" turbomachinery experience, specifically in the mechanical design area. Other desired experience includes manufacturing, test and/or field service experience, clear, concise written and oral communication skills (English), and competency with MS family of business software products. Limited travel, both foreign and domestic, is expected. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Software Development
We are seeking a senior-level engineering programmer for FEA development to join our experienced engineering software development group.  This individual must have at least five years of experience in advanced problem solving in an engineering software environment and the ability to apply engineering background to the development of world-class design and analysis software for turbomachinery.  Knowledge of FEA analysis and grid generation methods preferred.  Must have at least a B.Sc. in Engineering or Computer Science with a M.Sc. degree preferred.  Excellent teamwork and communication skills are expected.
