> Hanover north to Grant Brook Sanctuary in Lyme to find the following  

> migrant species in addition to usual year round resident species:  

> Canada Geese, Wood Ducks, Hooded Mergansers, Common Mergansers,   

> Mallards, American Kestrel, Great Blue Herons, Belted Kingfishers, a  

> Northern Flicker, Eastern Phoebes, a singing Ruby-crowned Kinglet, a  

> singing Louisiana Waterthrush, Red-winged Blackbirds, Tree Swallows,  

> Song Sparrows, a singing Swamp Sparrow, and American Robins. An  

> unusual sighting was a Wild Turkey flying over the Connecticut  

> River. Dozens of the Tree Swallows were flying swiftly southward  

> along the river, raising the question as to whether or not they  

> might have been engaged in a reverse migration.
