I have a primary male turkey with up to 7 females that visit daily. Yesterday, a new male approached. The primary male was already strutting his stuff to the ladies when he noticed the intruder. He kept his tail up and headed quickly in the direction of the male who was several hundred feet away and who was also approaching. They began to attack and I was able to catch this impressive shot. The primary male is the one off the ground with all feathers spread. The intruder is on the ground and quickly headed off with the primary male in pursuit. The primary male has one tail feather missing so he's easy to identify when in display.
