Myles and I spotted Seaside Sparrow this morning. Wow !!! A rather nervous
bird. With very characteristic yellow eye blazes. Dark and of good size.
The last one I saw was in NJ. This one was in Orange County, VT. (bet this
is a 2 point bird !!)
Well, really the south side of Cape Cod near Hyannis. Good looks, my first
one on CC.
Other birds of merit: form Nauset Beach/Orleans and Hyannis shore:
No Gannets (~12)
30 Black Scoters
2 White winged Scoters
8 Red throated Loons
6 Co Loons
6 Horned Grebes
100 Red br Mergs
40 Brant
Many Co Eiders
2 Piping Plovers
2 Gr Yellowlegs
1 Savannah Sp
Osprey, red tails, dc cormorants
Assortment of smalls and regulars.
Beached harbor seal, and 12 others.
