I've always thought of Nisus Writer as a 'long-text processor' rather than a 'word' processor.
It's not really for writing letters.

My wife, who despite using my old Macs for practicing contract bridge for two decades, wanted to type-up the words of songs for use during singalongs in our retirement establishment. 

I thought that it would be a good idea for her to start learning something more so started her with Pages.

Within half an hour she was going up the wall trying to work out what to do,

Within the next half-hour she was up and running with NWP. 

Why?   MARGINS.

You know where you are.

I can do with NWP most of the things Pages can do; it is so consistent.

Unfortunately, as I neither read in French nor read novels much anyway, there's not much point in following the link but congratulations, T, and I hope all goes well.
