Well Geoff, We are quite many that count Timothy amongst the very best
classic crime writers - fully in line with people like Agatha Christie,
Dorethy L. Sayers, Michael Dipdin and more of those from the late 20th
century...

I'm not against any kind of freedom, but what I'm against is that a guy
like Sig Larsson uses his socalled'criminal stories' to promote a real
radicalized left-wing communism - a fraction that is so far out left
that even the Kmer rouge in Cambodia was right-winged conservatism! This
very radicalized left-wing group is mostly located in the north of
Sweden, and they do state that they don't accept the society and they
are willing to use force if necessary to reach their goals.

There are also unstated rumors that some of their supporters have been
trained in radical muslim training camps both in the Hamas areas and not
at least in Iran. The Swedish security police (SEPO) are keeping a close
eye upon their activities right now.

On the other hand Sweden also had the very well writing couple, Maj
Sjöwall and Par Walö. They both were communists by heart, but they
managed to write very high quality crime novels that all are made into
films and TV series. They were fighting for anyones rights as well, but
they hated the use of power and force. - Their weapon were the pencils
and the spoken words.

We now also have a new Danish upcomer, Else Egholm, who also is situated
as a left-wing. Her ideals are Sjöwall and Walö. Right now the Danish
TV2 has started a new series about aerial murders written by her. this
TV serie is already now sold to more than 20 countries all over the world.

Cheers, Erik Richard
