We are looking for a dynamic electrical engineer/ team player who is interested in cutting edge design in electromagnetic structures as applied to linear alternators/generators.  Potential opportunity to join a team or eventually lead them in exploring the application of electromagnetic fields to future energy generation.  We are a very small, entrepreneurial company working on exciting opportunities in this space.

1.   Minimum of 5 years experience in multi-disciplinary lab/ research environment

2.   Self Starter who needs limited direct supervision with ability to work in a loosely structured, start-up like environment.  The candidate should be able to develop and define work content and meet deliverable schedules.  Is expected to work well in a collaborative environment.

3.   Experience in electro-magnetic field analysis required with experience in  Electromagnetic Finite Element Modeling using COMSOL Multi-Physics, Ansoft-Maxwell, or similar.  Experience modeling with MATLAB.

4.   Experience with Generator and/or motor design desired

5.  Advanced degree(s) or certifications desired.

6.  Ability to obtain United States security clearance (not required on current project, but expected for future work).
