Boys and I ventured into the Conte Refuge, near Island Pond for a visit this
weekend

Highlights (and lowlights):

1 Merlin
1 M  Harrier
1 osprey
1 F Co Merg

winter wren, Belted Kingf, BH Vireo, No Waterthrush, BT Blue W, Magnolia,
YRWa,and most notably
NO Bl thr Green warblers.

And so where are all our swallows ?  Are they just not in ?  or.... I have
yet to see NRWSw and Cliffs.  only 1 Bank and a small handfull of Barns.
Any comment ?
