Sunday, Mother's Day I was greeted by 2 M Rose Breasted Grosbeaks at the feeder.
Yesterday I had one M RT Hummingbird. I took 2 of my Hummingbird
feeders in for the night last night. Temp was in the 20's overnight.
Have had a M & F Purple Finch feeding together. I guess they have paired up.
One pair of Canada Geese have 2 goslings at George Pond.
Nesting activity- E. Phoebee had started to build 3 nests on rafters in the dog kennel.
One appears finished but I have not seen her the last few days. Of course she built
on the side that I use for the dog. That might have discouraged her. Plus I have several
red squirrels arround.
Chickadees have started a nest in one of my houses.
Tree Swallows took ownership of another house, but I have not seen them
for a few days. There was one bird gathering nesting material.
