>Subject: Voice Recognition/Video Interview transcription software
Hola,
I have a faculty member hunting for a solution to transcribe a number of
hours of Spanish language interviews that are currently in digital video
format. The voice recognition software I am familiar with (Dragon
Naturally Speaking, NCH Sound) might almost apply with some tweaking,
but I wonder whether anyone out there has any experience with
applications specifically for this purpose.
In practice, I generally assign a fluent or near-fluent student intern
to these transcription tasks, and am not aware of any sufficient
automated solutions.
Anyone?
many thanks!
Ellen
