Hello, I have been hearing new birs sounds in my yard and finally spotted the
birds yesterday. I saw a female and a male purple martin in an old dead tree
on my property here in Newport NH. I would imagine since they are spending
so much time in this tree, they must be nesting there. I have never seen them
before. They are beautiful birds. I wonder if they are the reason the starlings
did not come back to nest this year. I did get one picture but it isn't that
great so I will try to get more this weekend and post them to my blog on
Monday. Have a great weekend. Anne
