An adult Cooper's Hawk flew off from the backyard bird feeding area
here in Norwich village this evening (April 26) at 7:28 PM after
having unsuccessfully chased at least one sparrow (most likely either
Song or White-throated, which were the only species observed shortly
before the hawk was seen).

My sightings earlier this month of an adult Cooper's Hawk, presumably
the same individual, here at the yard were on April 4, 6, 8, 9, 10,
and 12.

George
