Before the rain began, highlights in the Mink Brook to Ledyard Bridge area included:

1 lone, late BOHEMIAN WAXWING
1 adult male AMERICAN WIGEON
2 (male and female) Green-winged Teal
1 Hooded Merganser
4 Wood Ducks
1 Carolina Wren
many singing Brown Creepers
1 White-throated Sparrow
