My first phoebe of the season stopped me dead in my tracks today on a
lunch-time run along Bragg Hill in Norwich. Made my day!
Yesterday just a bit further east, from the schoolbus, Spencer caught a
glimpse of a harrier putting up a flock of what appeared to be "snow
buntings flying like peeps." We quickly went back to see them and found
12 killdeer.
Also yesterday, at our feeders, a red-bellied female and a single redpoll.
