Noted 3 RW Blackbirds at George Pond here in Enfield Center. Noted 2 were male. Then numerous RWs at a feeder on Shaker Hill Road in Enfield. None at the pond on Main St. None at my feeders yet.
On George Hill Rd. on the Springfield NH side note fresh wood chips on the side of the road ahh the carving of a Piliated Woodpecker. Two very large oblong carvins from a tree. Have seen them in past years on Bowman Rd which is in the vicinity.
