Eagle Watch
Wilder Dam (Vermont side) - Saturday, February 7, 2009

Please join the Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon for our annual Eagle Watch at Wilder Dam.  From mid-December to the end of March, the Upper Valley is visited by two or more wintering eagles. This year, some of us have seen two mature Bald Eagles. Mark Krenitsky will have a scope there so you can see, if located, the eagles up close and personal. 

Directions to Wilder Dam: From Route 5 in Wilder, VT, turn east (toward the Connecticut River) on either Depot St. or Gillette St. Turn right on Passumpsic Ave. Parking will be limited right by the dam due to minimal plowing. Best to park up by the Visitor's Center and walk down; Mark should have his scope set up.
