Highlights of the first 5 hours of our (belated) Birdathon for VINS:

*Sandhill Crane* at Pompy, early this morning. Can't miss it!
At Ledyard, a young *Black-crowned Night-Heron* at SW corner of
embayment (i.e., downstream of big bridge and RR bridge). Sitting very
still. This bird isn't commonly seen in the upper valley!
*Yellow-throated Vireo*, Tucker Hill Rd. in Norwich

Spencer & Doug Hardy
