Hello-
Yesterday a group of 13 joined the NH Audubon's
Mascoma Chapter for the first in a series of Wednesday
walks to Boston Lot Lake in Lebanon.
We had a productive morning with the following
sightings:
Double-crested Cormorant
Canda Goose
Mallard
Turkey Vultures (about 13 spiraling over the dam)
Bald Eagle (immature, probable 3rd year)
Mourning Dove
Northern Flicker
Pileated Woodpecker
Blue-headed Vireo (great views of a pair)
Blue Jay
American Crow
Tree Swallow
Black cap Chickadee
Ruby Crowned Kinglet
American Robin
Yellow-Rumped Warlers
Palm Warblers (lots of close-up views)
Song Sparrow
Brown headed Cowbird (a pair)
Heard, not seen:
Red tailed Hawk
Tufted Titmouse
Brown Creeper
Winter Wren
Black throated Blue Warbler
Please join us next Wednesday, May 7 for our next
Boston Lot walk. And join Ted Boze this Friday, May 2
for the first "Feathered Fridays" at Union Village
