Sunday up on Hogback road (just north of the Pompy) in Norwich I saw 5
immature Bald Eagles alternately kettleing and chasing each other around. I
was a bit stymied with the guide I carry in the car but sure enough some of
the markings I took note of showed up in my Sibley guide here at home
identifying them as 1st/2nd year Bald Eagles.

Migratory harbinger of Spring?
