The Mascoma chapter eagle watch at Wilder Dam on Saturday was successful
in finding an eagle - in fact, we found two. An adult eagle was present
from at least 9:45 to noon, and a juvenile eagle flew in from 10:30 -
11. Other sightings were 12 Common Mergansers, a Pileated Woodpecker,
and a probable Snow Bunting flying over. Unfortunately, the bunting
didn't land, so I'm not certain of it.
