Skype: Network Nemesis or Teaching Tool?
Please join the conversation about how Skype can be used as part of the
language classroom curriculum... or whether it is a danger to our
machines, or our institutional networks. Come and share with us your
success stories, your mishaps, and your questions. If you have concerns
about Skype, or if people on your campus have expressed concerns about
Skype, please join the chat (either online or via Skype). Opposing
viewpoints are always welcome!
Please note: This show will happen twice...Thursday November 30th at 8
p.m. (http://tinyurl.com/yd5k9o) and Sunday December 3 at 3 p.m.
(http://tinyurl.com/ymtzw2). By doing this show at different times, we
hope our listeners in Europe (and elsewhere!) can join in without
staying up too too late.
Let us know if you would like for us to continue this practice of
broadcasting twice with future conversations as well.
Please email us at [log in to unmask] and let us know if you
would like to join us. Or go to our website
http://www.languagelabunleashed.com and click on the instructions about
how to connect.
Let me know if you have questions!
