We also use MediaWiki and have been very happy with it here at
UW-Madison.
For blogging, we use wordpress for our own blog, and are just getting
started to use Drupal for instructional blogs.
All three require a server. If a server isn't an option, I like
wikispaces (www.wikispaces.com) for wikis.
