I always hack all new DVD players, because I like to watch US and
European DVDs, being that I live on two continents. The easiest to hack
are the no-name brands, like the Walmart type. The most difficult to
hack are the high-end ones like Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic.
The following site has been a real help for me over the years. Hacking
your own property is not illegal, therefore I have no problem
recommending this site:
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php
It usually takes a combination of buttons on your RC and/or device to
access the hiden menu that lets you set the region code to 0.
Please let me know if you need assistance,
Andreia / Andy
