Dear LLTIers --
Professor Lucia Harrison posted a message to the ADFL listserve
(Assocation of Departments of Foreign Languages) inquiring about a digital
lab system to replace the one at Southeastern Lousiana University that was
destroyed by Katrina. I responded with information about IALLT and its
resources, mentioning Jack Burston's volume on Digital Language Lab
solutions, but I added that if she was under time pressures that didn't
allow her to wait for the acquisition of that volume I'd be happy to post
her inquiry to this list -- which she then asked me to do (see
below). Please, if you can help her, write to her directly, not to me or
to LLTI, of which she is not [yet] a reader. It's nice to think that we
too can provide some very specific help in our field, in addition to making
financial contributions to disaster relief.
Best,
Nina
