Hi All-
Well, guess it was the right thing to do, although I'm sorry we had to cancel last night's concert. It was fine here until about 6:50 ... then it poured!! Hope you all got my message so you didn't start towards WRJ.

As far as the picnic ... thanks to those of you that have let me know whether or not you're coming and how many guests etc. Keep those notes coming ... lots of empty spaces on my list as of right now. Also ... for those of you who asked ... don't bring a thing as far as food is concerned! This is just a small way for the band to say "thank you" for participating with us this year. You're welcome to bring a boat, innertube or whatever type of game that would be suitable for a picnic. The Rice's camp is  right on the lake ... a beautiful spot to relax and have fun.

SATURDAY ... parade in Charlestown begins at 10 am. It starts on the far end of town and the lady asked that we be there by 9. Am not sure if that means that we have to leave early in order to be in the middle of town by 10 or not (like the Brownsville parade we did). She was talking about being in line by 9 ... think if we're on the wagon by 9:30 we'll be ok.

We'll be playing out of March Masters and we are doing a "mini concert" afterwards .. will use the March & Swing and possibly Pop Classics. 

Parade is rain or shine ... thankfully the weather looks ok for Saturday morning. 
Don't forget your folding chair.

Directions to Charlestown:
From Lebanon/White River/Hanover area:
Rte. I-91 South to Exit 7 – Springfield/Charlestown – Rtes 5 and 11E
At bottom of ramp take a left onto Rte 11E (Charlestown Rd)
Once you go across the bridge you will be in NH … take a right onto  Rt. 12 South 
Go thru the center of Charlestown
Go to the far end of Main Street
Pass the Charlestown Middle School on your left
Go past Olcott Ln and take the next left which is Paris Ave. 
Then take the first right onto East Street Extension
We’re meeting at the school which will be on your right

If you’re coming from Springfield or Newport area just get to Charlestown and follow directions from above.
