Hey Gang-

Thanks for a fine performance in Boston yesterday ... the standing "O"
you got says it all!  ;-)  A special thanks to Mikey for announcing
and to Frank for filling in for Jim. Jim ... hope this finds you
feeling better. Many, many nice compliments .. think they are always
amazed that a group with polo shirts can keep up with the "penguins."
And, once again, heard the comment that we were "having fun!" Can you
imagine, having fun and playing well ... all at the same time???!!!!
They don't know it, but that's what a community band is all about.
AND, I thank you for that.

Also thanks to all of you who came to road race today. Thanks to Ernst
and the top - we didn't have to wear our life vests! It sounded good
and had many nice compliments from those standing near us.

Tomorrow night and next Monday are the last 2 rehearsals of the year
at Hanover HS. Our summer concerts start on Monday the 21st in
Lebanon. Please bring the blue folder that we used in Boston (that is,
if you didn't put it in the box) to rehearsal tomorrow nite. We need
to pass in some of the music and combined the rest of it into the
summer folders.

This week Saturday 6/12 is the Woodstock Alumni Day Parade ... starts
at 2 pm. Will send more info mid week.

Thanks again for a super day yesterday. Look forward to our last 2
rehearsals and our summer season.
