Reminder notice:

From 8 to 11 AM on Saturday April 2, 2011, the Mascoma Chapter of the
Audubon Society of New Hampshire and the Vermont County Birding Quest
are to have a bird walk with George Clark as the leader. After looking
for birds in the area of the Ledyard Bridge, participants will carpool
to other nearby locations to be determined on the basis of reports
closer to that date. We'll be especially looking for waterfowl and
other early spring migrants. This walk is free and open to the public.
Children accompanied by an adult are welcome. Bring binoculars and
scopes if available and dress warmly. Participants may walk as much as
a mile over fairly level ground. This walk will not be held in case of
steady rain or hazardous driving conditions.

Road instructions: From Exit 13 off I-91, turn towards Hanover, NH. On
approaching the Ledyard Bridge across the Connecticut River, pull into
the turn lane to go left at the stop light onto River Road in Norwich.
Once on River Road, take the immediate first left turn into the
commuter parking lot which at 8:00 AM is to be the starting point for
this bird walk.

If coming from Hanover, NH, cross the Ledyard Bridge into Norwich and
take the first right onto River Road. Then take an immediate left turn
into the commuter parking lot.
