Here's an updated list of programs and field trips arranged by the  
Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon through May of 2012.  All  
events are free and open to the public. Additional details on certain  
events from March through May are to be available closer to the  
scheduled dates. For more information, visit www.mascomabirds.org

Monday February 6 at 7:00 PM at the Howe Library, Hanover, NH,  
"Coastal Birds - Newfoundland to Florida", an illustrated presentation  
by George Clark.

Saturday February 11, from 10:00 AM to noon, Eagle Watch at the Wilder  
Dam in Wilder, VT, led by George Clark. (In case of adverse weather on  
Feb. 11, this event is to be rescheduled from 10 AM to noon on Sunday  
February 12.) Participants can come at any time during the two hours  
and stay as long as they wish. Bring binoculars and scopes if  
available. Dress warmly. Observations are to be made from the vicinity  
of the parking lot just west of Wilder Dam so walking will be minimal.

Monday March 5 at 7:00 PM at the Howe Library, Hanover, NH:  
"TransCanada and Eagles on the Connecticut River", a report on a new  
initiative to be presented by New Hampshire Audubon President Michael  
Bartlett and New Hampshire Audubon raptor biologist Chris Martin.

Saturday March 24, 8:00 AM, Waterfowl field trip led by George Clark  
and starting at the Ledyard Bridge commuter parking lot in Norwich, VT.

Monday April 2 at 7:00 PM at the Howe Library, Hanover, NH: "Zee zee  
zee zu zee - Spring Bird Songs", a visual/ auditory presentation by  
Becky Cook and Ted Boze.

Wednesday April 11, 7:15 PM (until after dark) starting at Kendal in  
Hanover, Woodcock bird walk led by Art Mudge.

Saturday April 21, morning starting time and  location TBA, Grant  
Brook bird walk led by Art Mudge.

Thursday April 26 at 7:00 PM at the Howe Library, Hanover, NH; "Life  
on the Bering Sea Islands", an illustrated presentation by Peter  
Stettenheim. Cosponsored by the Howe Library.

Wednesday May 2, 7:00-9:00 AM starting at Boston Lot parking area  
(NH), Warbler Wednesday bird walk led by Pip Richens.

Friday May 4, 7:00-9:00 AM at Union Village Dam (Buzzell Bridge  
entrance; VT), Feathered Fridays bird walk led by Peg Ackerson.

Wednesday May 9, 7:00-9:00 AM at Boston Lot parking area, Warbler  
Wednesday bird walk led by Pip Richens.

Friday May 11, 7:00-9:00 AM at Union Village Dam (Buzzell Bridge  
entrance), Feathered Friday bird walk led by Becky Cook and Ted Boze.
