There is a group of 9 (yes, 9!) Red-throated Loons on the water right now about 200 yards north of the boat ramp at Kilowatt South. All are in non-breeding plumage. Very unexpected, to say the least.  I recommend parking at the top of the access road and walking down, unless you have 4WD and good tires. 

Classic fallout conditions, so get out there and check water bodies if you can, but drive carefully!
