I am currently down at Home Depot mall behind the golf warehouse looking north up river. Group of 8-10 female plumaged goldeneye, one with a predominantly bright yellow orange beak. She is feeding very actively close to the shore behind Best Buy. Alas it is difficult to discern head shape or color relative to the others though head seems darker brown. None show anything close to the amount or brightness of the yellow on the beak. I think this is very likely a Barrow’s Goldeneye.
