This evening I heard a duet of Wood Thrush singing. One very close behind my house; the other across the road. For a while I thought there was a third in the woods further away. Nice!!!
I had 4 Cedar Waxwings fly in for a brief visit yesterday.
I have had them nest in the yard off and on in past years.
I have see them in the Shad Bushes/trees at the north/inpatient entrance at DHMC. twice within the past week.
The Tree Swallows appear to be feeding young now.
I think the Chickadees have fledged and gone. I will check the nest tomorrow. I did notice an adult in another house; I checked it out but no nest.
One M. Rose Breasted Grosbeak at the feeder this PM.
