    Today at Brown's Nursery in Thetford I saw what I'm pretty sure was a tortioseshell buttterfly. It is the first I've seen in the area, and I'm wondering if they are unusual. (Actually, I'm discouraged about butterflies in general because it seems to me that there is a general decline in our butterfly population.)
