Did check out Grafton Pond mid week last. It is still completely iced over. There was no water coming over the dam. We havn't checked it since the rain The road was a bit muddy and rutty but easily passable in our truck.
Also saw 2 Kayaks on George Pond. The area near the road that is open.
1 Pair of Canada Geese and 1 pair of Mallards.
at George pond today.
Large group of Robins at the playing field on 4A near Shaker Village today.
Checked on the LaSalette area for Tree Swallows but did not see any. I have had a Tree Swallow show up in my yard on April 1st a number of years ago, but not recently.
I did have only one pair nest last year. I hope for more this year, and have plenty of houses with free rent.
