Did the family bike ride around Lake Morey yesterday afternoon. Couldnt go
w/out binocs.

Gorgeous day, almost no wind (calm lake), sunny , bit cool.

Confering with Geo Clark...

100+/- Common Mergs more than 50 in one pod, close to shore. More males
than females 3:2. Could even hear them vocalize, which I do not recall
hearing before.

30 + Ring-neck Ducks
11 Buffleheads
8 Hooded Mergs
12+ MAllards
16 Black Ducks

no Loons or Grebes

1 Peregrine on the Palisades Cliff. Seemed smallish, male ?

Reed's Marsh in Orford had Mallards, and Hoodies.
