Here's the list of birds seen or heard yesterday in the rain prior to 
the meeting about the fate of the Windsor Correctional Facilities 
state land.  Thank you to those that came to the meeting to speak up 
for conservation of this important bird habitat.  The tone of the 
presentation by the consultants at the meeting was slanted towards 
agriculture and trail development for "active" recreation.  The 
wildlife management area concept was not presented. Dick McCormick, 
or state senator, was present at the meeting and would appreciate any 
input from constituents.
